Mull, Staffa and Treshnish Islands

I visited this area from 10-12 June 2018 and enjoyed a couple of great days with good weather and sunshine on Staffa where I spent a couple of hours.

This visit was repeated in the summer of 2021 and I tried to focus on sea eagles and otters. Sea eagles were photographed with good results whilst out on a boat trip, The otters were more elusive and I spend a considerable time hunting them down so to speak and finally found a couple on the edge of Loch Spelve. Managed to get a few good photographs but the weather was rather poor and they decided to settle behind a rock — so I left them in peace — they were having a siesta after some crab lunch.
